2012 in highlights

2012 has been a year for learning and growing. Today I want to share the moments from past year that we cherish most.
In February there was a thick layer of snow in Antwerp. At the end of the month we streetstyled Julie, who was just 12 but already had an amazing sense of style.
In April we were selected for the Weekend Blog Awards as best city blog. By far the most exciting thing that happened this year! Halfway through the voting process we really had a chance at winning but at the end the blog was still growing too much to already win such a prize.
May was a fun month: Helen participated in the Stiletto Run and we did our first, Slinkachu themed, giveaway.
June sure was busy! I went up in the air in a helicopter thanks to Eastpak, an incredible experience. Our youngest blog member Lara finally got 16 years old and the Lomography Store opened in the Kammenstraat. Finally there was the Fashion Academy who did their annual catwalk show, resulting in brilliant street style! Oh, and the afterparty at RA was fun too.
In July we were featured in Company Magazine thanks to Elien (Dogs & Dresses) and I did a bicycle catwalk show on the Grote Markt.
In August Lara went to Museumnacht and especially enjoyed herself at the masked ball at the Fashion Museum. We three had a blast at the bloggers night at The Public Image!
September stands for StuDay, the ideal place for snapping happy students. At the end of the month it was Antwerp Fashion Night, alias the time when we ate Japanese together and visited Louis Vuitton.
In October Lara had the opportunity of working at Elle. Together with the other girls she wrote an inspiring piece about what they believe are the trends for 2013. You can read the article in this month’s Elle.
December was the month we met Susie Bubble at The Blog Works and where we learned a lot about photography and blogging in general. Ultimately Helen took our dad to the reopening of Café Costume and we gave you a whole lot of gift ideas.
Only 12? Wauw, she knows her style so well!
